SANDY PRATT, CEcD, FM

VICE PRESIDENT 

   

Sandy runs our Oklahoma office. She has been in economic development for 31 years working at local, regional and state levels and also for private and government agencies and as a consultant. Her expertise is in global business attraction, foreign direct investment, business retention and expansion, export trade, strategy, lead generation, and economic development support services in marketing, public relations, events, and trade outreach. Sandy is knowledgeable in numerous industry sectors including aerospace, defense, corporate services, energy, bioscience, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, logistics/distribution, information technology, federal, advanced food processing.

 

At the government level, she worked as Deputy Director for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. While leading global business attraction and expansion for the State of Oklahoma, her team’s work resulted in the creation of 91,500 jobs and capital investment of $8.9 billion. Sandy also has experience leading county and regional economic development organizations.

 

On the consulting side, Sandy has worked for global marketing, lead generation, and research firms including PONT Group, Conway Inc., Research Consultants International FDI, Inc. These organizations specialize in FDI, economic development, lead generation, marketing, and public relations working with cities, regions, states and countries to attract corporate investment and jobs.

She has worked with hundreds of community and economic development organizations such as Louisiana Economic Development, Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, AdvanceCT, Thailand Board of Investment, Appalachian Partnership for Economic Growth OH, Muskogee Port Authority OK, Economic Development Council of South Miami Dade FL, Bowling Green Chamber KY, City of Owasso OK, City of Springfield OH, just to name a few.

 

Sandy has earned the Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) professional designation and is recognized as a Fellow Member (FM) by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).
